English, Mathematics, Science, Geography, History, Religious Education, ICT, two Foreign Languages French and from year 8 Spanish, Technology (Textiles, Food Technology, and Resistant Materials), Music, Art, Drama, Physical Education and CCPSHE
Subjects studied at KS4
Students follow a common curriculum of:
- English Language

- at least one Modern Foreign Language
- Religious Education
- PSHE/Citizenship/Careers
- Physical Education
Students choose additional subjects according to their personal interests and strengths from a range of subjects aiming for further GCSE qualifications. ICT skills are developed through a range of subjects across the curriculum in Key Stage 4.

ExploreStudents at Connaught are encouraged to fully engage in the world of sound by participating in activities such as singing, playing, listening, and composing
Modern Foreign Languages (MFL)
ExploreMFL involves giving confidence to students to enable them to express themselves in French and Spanish and be able to explore other cultures.
Additional Opportunities
Students are able to study an additional language to GCSE level, through after-school classes, and also have the opportunity to sit GCSE examinations in community languages, if they are fluent in a language other than English.
High achieving students in Science are offered the opportunity to follow a Triple Science pathway which leads to individual GCSEs in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
