You can filter our calendar so it only shows the categories that relate to you. You can also subscribe, which automatically synchronises with your calendar application (e.g. Outlook, iCal etc.). Every time our calendar is updated, it adds the event to your own application without having to visit the website.

School uniform plays a valuable role in contributing to the tone and ethos of our school. It helps to promote a sense of equality amongst our diverse community of students and the understanding of the formal nature of the environment. The wearing of uniform helps to instil pride in our school, a spirit of togetherness and an atmosphere in which successful learning can flourish.

Good attendance and punctuality are vital

It is vital that students bring the correct equipment to school every day.

Homework is an important and integral part of the learning process. We place strong emphasis on homework and the contribution it makes to successful achievement.

We reward our students in the following ways:

At Connaught we believe that good behaviour is of the utmost importance.Good behaviour leads to academic and social success at school and prepares pupils for the demanding environment of higher education and work.We expect good behaviour from all students at all times. This is for the student's own benefit and to ensure that the education of other students is not disrupted.

We offer a varied and healthy lunchtime menu for our students, below are the weekly menus for this term:

Breakfast Club runs every morning from 7:45am to 8:25am so that busy families can ensure their children get a good start to the day. We know that eating a good breakfast every day can improve a child's attendance, concentration, motivation and promote healthy eating habits.

This parents' workshop was well attended and very well received, with positive evaluations. For parents that were unable to attend there are a number of helpful guides attached to offer support.
