Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) at Connaught School for Girls
At Connaught School for Girls, we are committed to ensuring that every student with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) receives the support they need to thrive. Our SEND policy outlines how we identify, assess, and provide tailored support at every stage, ensuring full access to the curriculum for all students.
Our dedicated team of additional support teachers and learning assistants work closely with subject specialists, providing in-class support and targeted small-group sessions where needed. We also have procedures in place to assess and support students who join us mid-year.
Staff receive ongoing training to meet diverse learning needs, including supporting students with disabilities. Our SEND Coordinator, Ms. Alex Ricon Mosquera, works closely with teachers, parents, and external specialists, such as Educational Psychologists, to ensure each student receives the best possible support.
