As well as stimulating classroom activities and peripatetic Music lessons, the Music department offers a wide variety of clubs and activities either during lunch times or after school. There is a Year 7 and whole school gospel choir together with string and percussion ensembles.
Coannaught School's gospel choir has enormous popular appeal, and has been acclaimed as London's best school gospel choir ( Gospel Choir Recordings)
We have several instrumental teachers who visit the school, providing many pupils with the opportunity to take up extra music and instrumental lessons. There are many opportunities for pupils to perform at Connaught events including: the Christmas Concert, school assemblies, the Summer Celebration Evening and other events within the community.
Key Stage 3
