Drama

Drama, as a subject, is more than just putting on a performance for an audience; it is a sequence of life experiences that prepares a person for social interaction and communication in the future.
Drama develops confidence, trust, interaction skills and most importantly it helps pupils develop the ability to work within a group and as part of a team. Drama trains the pupils to think as a group, ensuring that by Year 11 they produce a piece of work that is entirely reliant on the success of working as a team by applying skills in lighting, sound, stage management, performance and direction.
We offer a fun and stimulating course for both Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 pupils providing theatre workshops, trips to see professional productions and the chance to perform at local theatres.
