The Art Department at Connaught seeks to enable pupils to share the wonders of the world and explore new ways of seeing, kindling enthusiasm for visual and tactile exploration.
We believe art contributes directly to the emotional development of the child, allowing for intuitive responses, the making of value judgments and divergent modes of thought.
We aim to provide a visually rich environment for pupils to work in. Exciting and dynamic artwork is on display in both art rooms.
Key Stage 3
In this section you can find out about the experience of students aged between 11 and 14 in the school years 7, 8 and 9.
Key Stage 4
In this section you can find out about the experience of students aged between 14 and 15 in the school years 10 to 11.
