If a pupil wears extra jewellery, it will be removed and kept in the school office for a week. If a student needs to remove her watch or earrings for a given lesson, for Health and Safety reasons the teacher will follow departmental procedures to look after these items. If a student wears makeup or nail varnish they will be asked to remove it. A small charge will be made for the nail varnish remover. If a student wears nail extensions, she will be asked to cut them and have them removed before the next school day.
Valuable items should not be bought to school. For this reason we do not allow girls to wear expensive coats to school. School is not responsible for expensive items that go missing. We would strongly advise that all items of clothing are labelled and equipment marked.
