Gene Therapy

In November 2007, twenty Year 11 Biology students attended the prestigious “Gene Therapy” event held at Birkbeck College.


Enterprise Week

Week beginning 12th November 2007 was enterprise week. Many girls had the opportunity to take part in a range of enterprising activities.


Computers for Students

Thirty excited students were recently loaned a computer to use at home whilst they remain students at the school.


Comenius European Partnership

In October 2007 Connaught formed a partnership with 4 other secondary schools across Europe to embark on an exciting project.

BSF Consultation

Best Ever GCSE Results in 2007

67% of students at Connaught School for Girls achieved at least five GCSEs at grades A* to C in 2007.This achievement is an 8 percentage point increase on results in 2006.


Asha Philip Wins World 100m Gold

Asha Philip, a Year 11 student at Connaught in 2007, has made history by becoming Great Britain's first woman to win a global 100 metre athletics title.


Study Support Award

We have been awarded the 'Quality in Study Support' (QiSS) accreditation.
